Fleet Manager

Employment and Human Resource Services Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to fleet management
  • Managing any insurance related matters
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Perform stock takes and preparing reports
  • Managing the needs, complaints and requirements of fleet members
  • Coordinating service with providers, organising appointments and following up on orders
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Able to work on a shift basis including weekends and holidays
  • Valid drivers License, categories A and B
  • Clean Police Conduct
  • Computer Literate, familiar in data entry, analysis and management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team, as well as individually without supervision
  • Organised and self motivated
Other:

Person would have an understanding of vehicles, insurance, maintenance, and logistics. Even perhaps when it comes to legal and insurance matters in relation to vehicle accidents. Person should be able to teach drivers and staff on company protocols possessing strong management and leadership skiils. Willing to learn a new industry as training will be provided. Strength of character also important for this role.
